McDonald’s Christmas Grinchmas Happy Meal 2026: Toys, Price & Dates

McDonald’s UK’s Christmas collaboration for 2026 is a “Merry Grinchmas” — but with a twist on last year. The Grinch isn’t getting full £9.09 meals this time: the Grinch appears in the Happy Meal, which runs 20 November to 31 December 2026 with 8 collectible toys.

What is the collaboration?

It’s a “Merry Grinchmas”: from 20 November to 31 December, every limited-edition Happy Meal comes with one of eight Grinch and friends toys — including adorable plush Christmas decorations, Grinch family card games, and the exclusive “Twelve Days of Grinchmas” tale. McDonald’s says the Grinch will also be visiting restaurants nationwide to meet families in person.

Unlike 2025, there is no standalone Grinch Big Mac / McNuggets / McPlant meal this year — the Grinchmas tie-in is Happy Meal-only.

What’s in the Grinchmas Happy Meal?

A standard Happy Meal — around £3.49 — with the usual choice of main (Fish Fingers, Chicken McNuggets, Cheeseburger, Hamburger or Veggie Dippers), a Pineapple bag or Carrot Bag, a drink (water, milk or Fruit Shoot), plus one of the 8 Grinch collectible toys.

The 8 toys: plush Christmas decorations, family card games, and the “Twelve Days of Grinchmas” tale — Grinch and friends characters. Themed toys can run out before the end date, so collectors should go early.

Who is it for?

Families with young children first and foremost — but also collectors of McDonald’s toys. The plush Christmas decorations are the obvious keepsake, and the “Twelve Days of Grinchmas” tale gives it a storybook angle the usual toys don’t have.

How long does it run?

20 November to 31 December 2026 — the Grinchmas Happy Meal has its own confirmed window, slightly longer than the “about six weeks” of the food menu. The toys are the constraint: with 8 to collect and popular characters, individual toys can sell through at busy restaurants.

Is it good value?

The arithmetic is simple: a Happy Meal is around £3.49, the same as any other Happy Meal — the Grinch toys are a bonus, not a price premium. For a kids’ festive treat, it’s the cheapest official Christmas item on the menu after the £1.99 Terry’s Chocolate Orange Pie.
